The promoter of this project is Mr. Alexander Pothen, an NRK who is currently running businesses in Dubai. He is settled at Mumbai, though his place of orgin is kattode, near Tiruvalla.

Alexander Pothen is the managing director of Bin Tamim Office Equipments L.I.C, of Dubai, UAE. Bin Tamim was set up morethan twenty years back, and was the distributor of Sanyo photocopiers for the UAE. After Sanyo stopped the production of photocopiers, they became the agents for Sharp, under an exclusive brand name of Busimatic. This again is for the UAE.

During the hiatus between the switch over, he entered in to the hospitality industry by setting up a restaurant by the name of Highway Inn. The success of this restaurant is what made him think of investing in the hospitality industry in Kerala. As his first venture, he has chosen the tourist hot spot of Alleppey. The initial scheme is to set up a four cottage resort on the banks of the Meenapally Vatta Kayal in Kainakary village of Alleppey District.
